We stopped of hear for late lunch on way back home. The food is traditional Punjabi taste and was exactly to our taste.
We purchased some samosa from the shop to takeaway and again the samosa pastry and filling is very tasty.
Got a complimentary large tub of chutney with them.
The service in the shop and restaurant was top notch.
We will visit again when in the Midlands.

Great range of Punjabi snacks, all freshly made! We ordered several things and all of them were of a high quality. The bread pakora is the best I’ve had in the UK 🙂

After many years, I decided to come back and try this place. The space has changed but I would rather like it was before. Drove all the way from Birmingham to be disappointed. As you go upstairs, there’s a strong smell I can’t even describe. The food portions are small. The paneer was not cooked properly , most onions peppers and gravy were served. Unfortunately won’t drive all the way there again, I miss this place when they had only the small
downstairs area to eat in. Very disappointed! 😪

Food Review – Amritsar Kulcha.
Very disappointing experience.
I was quite disappointed with the overall food experience. The Amritsar kulcha was very hard and difficult to chew, which is not how an authentic kulcha should be. It felt overcooked and lacked freshness.
The food portions were also very small considering the price charged. For what you pay, the quantity is definitely not worth it.
On top of that, the sweets and other Indian food items are extremely overpriced compared to both their quality and quantity. The taste did not justify the high prices at all.
Overall, the food did not meet expectations in terms of value for money, quality, or authenticity. I would not recommend this place unless there is a significant improvement in food quality and portion sizes.

Choley bhature and kulcha was good but noodles were not. Service could have been better and glasses for water were not dry cleaned. Not so recommended for dining in but food is good overall.

I ordered Amritsar traditional food which is saag and 2 makhi roti £8.00 There was only enough saag to eat one roti. The guy said that’s there portion size. He recommended I order my more saag costing £10. My total cost for saag and 2 roti was £18. I didn’t find that value for money and definitely won’t be returning there

Amazing Indian restaurant with truly authentic Amritsari flavours. The RasMalai was out of the world. All the other items like Daal Makhani and Mixed vegetables sabji were also scrumptious, prices are very reasonable, and the hospitality is excellent. Special thanks to Mr. Angrej Singh who welcomed us so warmly and made the experience even better. Highly recommended !!
